iZettle AB, 556806-0734, (“iZettle”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to protect and respect the privacy of any individual whose personal data we process as part of us providing our products and services (altogether “services” below, and includes also products and services provided by affiliates within the iZettle group.). The below describes what personal data we process and for what purposes, and also the choices you have.

This Privacy Policy describes the processing for which iZettle is the personal data controller. Our websites and services may from time to time contain links to third party websites that are not controlled by us. If you visit such websites or use such services, please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply for such third parties’ processing, why we encourage you to carefully review how such third parties process personal data before using their websites or services.


We process personal data obtained through your registration for our services and through your contacts with us, our affiliates or third parties acting on our behalf, and when you participate in competitions, surveys, polls or similar, and otherwise through your use of our websites and services.

We also process personal data that you provide to any of our merchants that use iZettle´s invoicing service or when you pay the invoice that our merchant has issued through the use of iZettle´s invoicing service by card (both “End-customers”).

Examples of personal data that we may process are your name, personal ID number or date of birth, home address, e-mail address, IP-address, unique identifier of devices you use to access and use the services and our websites, bank account details and transaction history information (including localization data) and encrypted card data.

We may also process personal data obtained from selected third parties such as credit bureaus, other financial institutions and from publically available sources. Third parties from which we obtain personal data can also be e.g. social networks or similar that you have linked your iZettle account with.


We always process personal data in accordance with applicable law, and we have implemented security measures to prevent that your personal data is used for non legit purposes or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

We process your personal data to provide our services, to fulfill relevant agreements with you and to otherwise administrate our business relationship with you. The personal data is further processed to provide you with news, information and marketing concerning our, and other similar, services. We may also use the personal data to improve and develop our websites and services.

In addition to the above, we may process personal data pertaining to End-customers or our merchants that use iZettle´s services for legitimate credit evaluation and risk management purposes, to prevent abuse of our services and violation of relevant terms and conditions, and to fulfill our obligations under law and rules issued by our designated banks and relevant card networks.

We may share your personal data with our affiliates and third parties for the purposes described above, including to parties located outside the EU/EEA. Our designated banks and relevant card networks may also come to process your personal data for their own fraud prevention and risk management. Selected service providers, such as certain credit bureaus, may also come to process your personal data to enhance and develop their own services.

If you have linked your iZettle account with a social network, we may also share certain personal data with other users of that social network. Personal data that we may share this way is limited to personal data that you have enabled us to obtain through the social network, such as your profile picture and other similar information related to your profile.


By registering for and/or by using any of the services, you consent to the processing described in this Privacy Policy, including any transfer of your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA and to receive marketing material electronically from us and our affiliates and partners. You may at any time choose to withdraw your consent to receive marketing material from us.

We will rectify and update your personal data upon your request and also if we become aware that certain data is no longer correct.

In order to control that we process up-to-date and accurate personal data, you have the right to, free of charge and once per year, obtain an excerpt of the personal data that we process about you. Such request must be undersigned by you personally and sent by regular mail to the address below.

If you choose to withdraw your consent to our further processing as described in this Privacy Policy, please note that we may no longer be able to provide you with the services you have requested and may therefore terminate relevant agreements with you, see relevant terms and conditions for more information. In addition, we may continue to process your personal data for legit purposes, such as to fulfill an agreement with you, to protect our interests in connection with legal proceedings and to fulfill legal obligations.
